Marshallton in Bloom

We often speak of the unique sense of place that exists in the Village of Marshallton. Well, nowhere was this more evident than at the Marshallton Souper Supper & Spring Meeting held on April 13th. The Marshalton Inn was bustling with the sounds of neighbors, friends, and community members united by their shared interest and mutual support for preserving the history and traditions that connect our past with future generations. This deeply-rooted sense of community blooms year-round in the Village of Marshallton!

Please mark your calendars for another of Marshallton’s time-honored traditions in May: The 2023 Marshallton Memorial Day Parade. Join us on Sunday, May 28th at 1:30 p.m. to salute the brave men and women who have served, those who continue to serve, and those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

Marshallton Souper Supper Highlights

"In small, historic villages like our ours, the idea of community provides us with a sense of belonging, mutual support, and shared identity. They provide a sense of continuity and connection to the past, preserving local customs and traditions for future generations. By working together and valuing each other's unique perspectives, we can create strong, resilient communities that are capable of facing any challenge." –Bob Portnoy, Board President
