Marjorie Cann Barr

Marjorie was born October 20, 1926 at Chester County Hospital. Her mother and father, Abbie and Merrill B. Cann lived on Strasburg Road in Marshallton. She went to the Marshallton School through eighth grade and then to West Chester High School. After graduation she went to Harcum Jr. College and then West Chester University, where she graduated in 1948. She then taught at the Chadds Ford School until she married in June 1949. She then moved to the farm on Lucky Hill Road with her husband Doug, where she still lives. Marjorie and Doug have 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
