Giving Thanks

As we approach the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we invite you to step outside to take a stroll around the Village. Envelop yourself in the peacefulness and quaintness of this special community we are lucky to call home. It is not lost on us that the Village of Marshallton is such a unique entity. There are fewer and fewer places of its kind that are so well preserved, so well defined. Even as suburbia creeps in every direction, we remain steadfast in our purpose to preserve the Village for future generations to enjoy as we do today.

It is our privilege to serve the Marshallton community as we work to promote the history of the Village, maintain its sense of place, and protect the open space and natural resources of its environs. During this time of gratitude, please accept our sincerest appreciation for your continued support that enables us to propel our mission into action. Together, we will continue to preserve the past, protect the present, and plan for the future.

You've Made an Impact

The Marshallton Conservation Trust's accomplishments in the areas of Open Space Conservation, Community Donations, and Community Events are a direct result of your continued support. Thank you!

The Results Are In

In early November, the Chester County Government released the results of its latest 5-year Quality of Life Citizen Survey conducted by West Chester University's Center for Social and Economic Policy Research. While the survey participants represent all areas of Chester County, the results reaffirm that our mission to protect and improve the quality of life, safety, health, and environment of the Marshallton community–both within the Village boundaries and the countryside surrounding it–is a top priority for all citizens of our county. Our fields and forests help filter our water, clean our air, reduce flooding and slow stormwater during major weather events. Simply put, our open space is essential to the health, economy, and future of Chester County, and the Marshallton Conservation Trust will stay the course to ensure that our open space is permanently protected.

Community Spotlight: Art in Marshallton

Thanks to the incredible artists, our generous sponsors, and Mother Nature, who gifted us with a beautiful day, the inaugural Art in Marshallton: Plein Air Event was enjoyed by all! A special thanks to Geralyn Robinson and Cendrine Gemberling for their efforts in organizing this wonderful event for our community.

We are pleased to announce that with the contributions received through the sale of the artwork and donations from members of our community, we raised $900 to benefit the Marshallton Beautification Project spearheaded by the Community Concerns Committee of the Marshallton Conservation Trust. Plans are already underway for the next Art in Marshallton in September 2024. Please keep an eye out for information on our website and through our social media channels.
